The "Quiet Zone" is about a small town in West Virginia nestled next to a giant telescope where wifi and any kind of electromagnetic radiation has been banned and is punishable by law.

This blanket of silence attracts all sorts of Outcasts: There is a community that offers, apart form the locals, a home for electrosensitives, doomsday preppers. NeoNazis, a bear rescue centre, hippies and alternative medicine practitioners that live in this wifi free zone without all amenities and conveniences we've gotten used to in the digital world.

The documentary, made together with Barbara Politsch, dives into this mini cosmos full of dualities where things are not quite as they seem at first glance.
